Please see Inverell Hospital O & G shifts – GP VMO Obstetrician OR Obstetrician shifts. Stabilise neonates for transfer which would include the insertion of an IVC in most circumstances, UVC’s and any other requirements requested by the NETS team. Advanced Life Support of the Newborn as well as. Adult Perform LSCS as required both booked and Emergency. As well as management of a PPH (including surgical management), retained placenta and possibility of hysterectomy. Manage any Emergency Obstetric Scenario as it arises with Senior Midwives Ongoing management of the Newborn Post birth. Work as a Solo Practitioner providing holist care of the woman, her family and the newborn. The role includes On Call and all outpatients and birthing requirements. Cover also includes managing the Newborn until discharge.
